Baby Mama Movie - Trailer & Preview - In Theaters April 25, 2008

You can get a first look at the Baby Mama trailer right here on this website. Check it out so you can get excited for its release in theaters on April 25, 2008.

The Baby Mama trailer begins with Tina Fey’s character Kate Holbrook stating that she’s 37 and wants a baby so she’s pursuing all her options. You see her buying books on babies at a book store, meeting with an adoption lawyer who gives her a disapproving head shake, and carrying a vial as she talks about starting the artificial insemination process. Next in the Baby Mama trailer, then reveals that Kate is on a date as it shows the very shocked and frightened-looking face of a man sitting across from her in the restaurant. Kate realizes she’s revealed too much on this first date and has probably scared the guy off.

As the Baby Mama trailer continues, you see Kate in her doctor’s office being told that her chances of conceiving are very slim. Her doctor tells her flat out, “I don’t like your uterus.” You see Kate getting a negative result on a home pregnancy test and throwing it across the room in frustration. At this point in the Baby Mama trailer, you see Kate meeting with Sigourney Weaver’s character, the head of a surrogacy agency, who explains their fees and process.

Next, you see the first meeting between Amy Poehler’s character Angie Ostrowiski, the proposed surrogate mother, and her husband who seems to be a bit against the whole process. You can already tell at this point in the Baby Mama trailer that Angie and her husband seem to have a different background and lifestyle than Kate. Still, they seem to hit it off and agree to the surrogacy.

Finally you can begin to start seeing the odd couple dynamic between Kate and Angie as the Baby Mama trailer advances. Kate is opposed to Angie eating junk food, Angie is messy in Kate’s immaculate apartment, and you begin to get glimpses of the humor of the film. When Kate likens living with Angie to living with a child, her all-knowing sister simply tells her it’s good practice for when the baby comes.

Further along in the Baby Mama trailer, you begin to see that Kate and Angie are starting to bond in spite of their differences. They go out dancing, go to doctor’s appointments together, and attend Lamaze classes. Will it all work out in the end? What will happen to these two very different women once the baby is born?
